Our Exhibition at Ardency, Winners and Finalists 2017

Held in conjunction with Ardency Aroona, Yowie Bay
Inspired by the theme "Life in Full Colour"

Judged by International, Multi Award Winning Artist Wendy Sharp
Wendy Sharpe is one of Australia’s most awarded artists, she lives and works in Sydney and Paris. She has been awarded The Sulman Prize, two Travelling Scholarships, The Portia Geach Memorial Award (twice), The Archibald Prize, and many others. She has been a finalist in The Sulman Prize twelve times, and The Archibald Prize six times. She has held over 52 solo exhibitions around Australia and internationally.

Judge's Comment:
"It was a very difficult job to judge this exhibition. There are so many good and interesting works - not just the ones who have won prizes or are finalists. There is incredible variety. I tried to select  a range of different types of work - they range from the highly skilled to the more naive but sincere and personal.
